Laser cutting of acrylic Kyiv is a new high-precision technology…
Laser cutting is versatile for a lot of types of materials. The high precision and speed of the laser is a great advantage in the manufacture of decorative products. We will introduce you to the technical process and tell you about the sphere of laser cutting.
Laser cutting is a process of thermal influence and fission. When hitting the surface of the material, the laser beam heats it up to the melting point, leaving behind a neat incision with already processed edges. Actually, the process itself starts when the laser has completely burned through the material at one point. The system follows the geometry defined by the computer system and separates the material along a precisely defined contour.
Versatility for a large number of materials. No other technology makes it possible to interact with so many materials used in production.
There is no need for further processing. For most materials there is no need for post-processing, as the laser beam can even be used to seal the edge of products such as synthetics or finished carpets to avoid fraying.
High accuracy. The finished contour comes out a little more than the trajectory of the laser beam. Due to this, thin geometric shapes can be cut. In addition, built-in cameras (JobControl Vision) create special marks during the cutting process and can compensate for the beam path even if the original template is slanted, twisted or deformed.
Wear resistance of tools. The laser beam doesn’t wear out as quickly as, for example, cutting heads. This saves time and money in the production process.
